The standard transmission for both engines is a SKYACTIV®-MT 6-speed manual, however there is also an available SKYACTIV®-Drive 6-speed automatic with manual shift and Sport Mode. This second option let’s you manually shift gears without needing a clutch.
The Honda Fit doesn’t provide you with as much power. Its only engine is a 1.5L 4-cylinder that tops out at 130 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque.

The Mazda3 is the larger of the two cars and gives you a more spacious interior. It has a wider frame, which allows all five people more space to stretch out.
